HO CHI MINH - A Portrait, co-authored with Lady Borton, 2003
This 140 page book is a combination of text and images telling
the life story of one of the most important leaders of the 20th Century.
The book contains a historical narative and poetry and writing by
Ho Chi Minh much of whichhas not been previously published in
English. There are also two stories by two of Ho's closest friends,
his photographer Dinh Dang Dinh and his personal secretary Vy Ky.
2000 - Author, An Artists Portrait of HO CHI MINH 2000
This artists book contains 118 pages of images and text
(approximately 59 of each) including a fictional diary by Ho based
on actual events which occurred during his lifetime. The diary and
factual information were written by Charles Fenn, Ho Chi Minhs
biographer and the man who worked with Ho while in the OSS during
WW II. The book is edited by Lady Borton
Curator Reconsidering Vietnam 2000
An exhibition of four (three Vietnamese and one American) artists
celebrating the twenty-fifth anniversary of the end of the war in Vietnam.
The exhibition was held at the Richard F. Brush Art Gallery at St. Lawrence
University, Canton, NY, January 31-March 10, 2000.
Curator Seven Pillars: The National Treasure Artists of Vietnam 1998-2000
An exhibition of art work by the leading artists of Vietnam. The
exhibition is scheduled to open in Hanoi in late 1998, after which it will travel to the U.S. for two years. The exhibition will have its
final showing at the Ho Chi Minh Fine Arts Museum in early 2000.
